Bound for Hong Kong

Dizzizitt! 2013 really started with a bang - our much awaited vacay for this year. After reading forums and articles on Hong Kong. I've learned that it's winter time in HK (but no snow).  We've checked the weather updates everyday.  We also really don't know what clothes to pack until days before the flight.  I'm so glad that I have a classmate who is based in HK for almost 10 years now.  She gave me updates on the weather and what to clothes to pack . Also posts from GirlTalk Forum of femalenetwork.com really helped a lot.

Cebu Pacific Seat Sale and Other Added Services

The long wait if over for this Hong Kong vacation.  We booked a Cebu Pacific flight bound for Hong Kong last October 2012.  We've got a  50% off on seat fare.  We initially opted the Clark-HongKong-Manila route, but we realized that we will still have additional cost on land transportation going to Clark, Pampanga. We checked everyday for seat sales, we checked every airline that flies from Manila to HK,  luckily we've got the chance to booked for HK a week after the much celebrated Chinese New Year.

Breakdown of flight fare on the left; Breakdown of added services that we availed on the right.

We initially paid the flight fare only, but after learning that a added services was available for seat selector, prepaid baggage and travel insurance, we availed the extra services and paid it on the nearest Bayad Center (actually you can pay in any bank).  Just make sure you settled the payments within 24 hours and if not they will decline or won't allowed you when you check-in.
Cebu Pacific - extra sevices
We always get travel insurance, whenever we travel - domestic or international. It's your safety net just in case....

Cebu Pacific Flight 5J 963 Bound for Davao

After nearly 4 years of flying again with Cebu Pacific, a lot has changed. First they already transferred to Terminal 3 which is now the largest airport terminal in the Philippines. The last time we flew Cebu Pac was year 2008 bound for Cebu and their home terminal is the Manila Domestic Airport.

As early as 530AM we already checked-in, also there's a line file up for the early flyers. (Though recently CebuPac launch the Web Checker ) but didn't get the chance to use it since I only knew it when we checked-in after reading the tarp announcement. Anyways, we exceed the 15kls/each for baggage. My husband and I have a total of 30kls. and exceeded 1kls. Luckily the check-in attendant waived the excess baggage ( since we were with my sister who previously worked for Cebupac)

Bound for Davao via Cebu Pacific NAIA Terminal 3

The third terminal of the airport, Terminal 3 or NAIA-3, is the newest and biggest terminal in the NAIA complex, wherein construction started in 1997. It was one of the most controversial projects the Philippine government has become involved with. Legal battles and red tape, especially international cases in both the United States and Singapore as a result of mismanagement of the project by the Arroyo government, as well as technical and safety concerns, delayed the opening several times.
The terminal officially opened to selected domestic flights from 22 July 2008 (initially Cebu Pacific only, then Philippine Airlines' subsidiaries AirPhil), with Cebu Pacific international flights using it from August 1, 2008. All international operations, except for those from PAL, are intended to operate from Terminal 3 in the future, originally proposed to move in fourth quarter of 2009, however international operations from all airlines except Cebu Pacific still operate from Terminal 1.

Terminal 3 has a huge space that caters to several food stalls and boutiques - from clothes, sports goods, bags and sports gears, jewelries, slippers and shoes just to name a few.

It's my first time here in terminal 3, since we always choose Philippine Airlines as our carrier
Luckily the terminal fee is still at PhP200
Well-wishers your line ends here

What's unique with Cebu Pacific flights is their onboard flight games with Cebupac merchandise as prizes. Surprisingly, no free snacks - you have to buy beverages, chips and sandwiches.  Also Cebupac merchandise are for sale: Plane stuff toy, travel kit, tote bag and others.
I didn't like much the boarding pass, it's just a piece of paper like an official receipt. If you'll kept it on your purse while waiting for boarding, you might lost it because it's look like a receipt.
This is the SMILE magazine, the inflight magazine of CebuPac.

I am equipped with my ever loyal camera, and my guide to Davao, which is (sorry..) it's the MABUHAY magazine of Phil Airlimes.
