Chevron's Week of Caring @ Virlanie Foundation 09.21.08
Diveristy sponsored week of caring at Virlanie foundation. Ako nalang daw ung emcee, Lai & Yan are the organizers so support ako sa mga friendship and everything.....
Vision
Virlanie Foundation Inc. is a private, non-sectarian child caring institution duly licensed and accredited by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). Mr. Dominique Lemay, a French national and former Director of Caritas (France) established Virlanie Foundation Inc. in 1992 in partnership with Filipinos.
Mission
Virlanie Foundation Inc. is a non-governmental child-caring institution. Our mission is to provide developmental services to our beneficiaries in order to facilitate their self-development.
Programs and services
Residential: allows over 300 children to experience real home life by providing them with the traditional Filipino family atmosphere. Today, a total of twelve homes has been established containing two Drop In centers.
Educational: gives the opportunity to the children to study and learn essential knowledge and moral necessary for their integration back to society.
Medical services: provide with the treatment of minor and major illnesses, emergency cases and monitor the health, nutrition and well-being of the children.
Psychological/Psychiatric: takes care of the mental health and hygiene of the children to ensure normal growth and development.
Special programs
Family Program: preventive program for people from urban poor areas.
Family reunification program: focus on preparing the child and his family to reunification.
Sibuhi: therapeutic and rehabilitative art center.
Manila Youth Reception Center and the Reception Action Center: contribute to the rehabilitation and care for Youth offenders and abandoned children.

Whew...a yummy breakfast with etel, mimi, karla and me. Tagal din namin di nagkita kita after leaving accenture..except for Karla, we recently bonded in Boracay, so I miss Etel and Mimi...Yummy food sa Flapjacks mejo pricey pero ok naman, lalo na ung servings..malalaki....After breakfast we had our ffrap sa starbucks 6750 we were there til 1pm, grabe 8am pa kmi nag start ng breakfast tas afternoon n kmi nag hiwahiwalay...tumatwag na c daddy..galit na...super chickahan kzi kmi...
The bill is on us ni Karla, but next time it will be mimi and etel na....
We'll think of new resto to chill out again...

Wheee...Summer was move in September...Its a very fun and memorable experience with Daddy in Borcaay, plus the package of fun with the Accenture-Denali's QI Team.5 days is not enough for us, so probably next year, we'll be having a trip down south again..in the Island of Boracay.

Waaa.....my 2nd 5-in-one vaccine....sbi ni mummy 2log lang daw po ako...tas sbi nin vet ang bait ko daw....mananakaw nga daw po ako kz sobra akong tulog. Ksama ko po cna cousin cheska at patrick..natatakot po c pat kay dok, kala nya i-injection-nan xa.... Dok gave me deworming at mga ointments...babalik ako sa aug 16....okidoks!

Last Day in Accenture July 12, 2008
I wanna thank you sobra sa friendship for almost 3 years na I've been here. Being here is the most memorable years of my life. I met friends, "anak-anakans" and mentors as well.
Super ma mi-miss ko kau.
For three years of being here. I will show you the stats:
I submitted more or less 841 rate inspection transactios (2007-423, 2008-238 and 2006-180). Lets not count my failed transactions...hehehe
More or less 250 resync requests.
Around 200 vantive filed.
150 submitted to UW RAF inspections and 132 CARBS audit inspections.
Whew.... binilang ko yan ha, di ko ni-delete ang mga emails ko.
I've been so greatful to work with the PIOONERS Adam, Pam, Chie, Jen, Joseph, Yan and Karla
Audited by 4 rate inspectors- Warner, Sean, Elmer and Shainee.

A fun-filled Day for the First Accenture Fun Day, I also joined the 3K run and watched the 1/2K run for the dogs. Pahiyas Festival 2008
At long last, I got the chance to attend the Pahiyas Festival of Lucban Quezon. Its really a dream come true. I just saw that occassion sa newspapers, calendars and television, but this 2008, I got a chance to be there.
Dadalawang isip pa nga kami kz its raining, but Dad said whatever happens tuloy namin ang trip...because He knows I really wanted to go there.
Preparations:
I filed a vacation leave for 3 days May14-16, for this getaway. April 01 pa lang I already filed na, hehehe...una una lang yan.....May 15, Thursday, before sunrise, 4:35 we left Imus, Daddy was the driver, Dad check the car, while I prepare our baon (spaghetti, ham & egg sandwich, liempo, sodas, chox, chips) I also charged my batteries for the digicam and my ipod and Dad's PSP. Then we go off to Shell to gas up..whew 2000 bucks men, for the fuel.Well 4:35 na, We say bye to Mama and hit off the road of Cavite going to SLEX.
How to get there:
Just take the SLEX, exit at Calamba going to Lucena and Batangas, dire-diretso lang dadaan kayo ng Turbina, Sto.Tomas, Alaminos San Pablo, Tiaong, Candelaria, Sariaya Tayabas then Lucban na. Mejo malayo pero meron pang isang way, dadaan daw ng Majayjay...pero di ko alam yun eh.....
Pahiyas Festival 2008 May 15, 2008 Lucban Quezon
Pahiyas Festival is a colorful feast in honor of San Isidro Labrador, the patron saints of farmers, as a thanksgiving for a bountiful harvest. Houses along the old streets of Lucban are artistically decorated with agricultural harvest, and of the very unique highlight of the festival, the "kiping". It is a wafer made up of rice that comes in different colors. The Lucbanons come up in different designs every year, as they showcase their artistic talents in decorating their houses.
This is my first time in this festival, before I just saw this event in the calendars and photos in the newspapers and also watched in Teevee, but this 2008, I promised myself to really get to see personally the festival...thanks to Daddy who really brought me safely in Lucban, with side trip to the Grotto. So check this out guys! I hope we can bring you next year on this colorful event...enjoy our photos.

Itz a new year and its a new beginnings for everybody!
I actually dont want to have a new year resolution, but when i watched a teevee special last dec 31, a financial planner says, that you have to have a new year resolutions esp on the financial side.....whatttt?!!!?? i guess one thing i wann do in 2008 is SAVE...SAVE...SAVE... for God sake even its totally super hirap.....but i have to SAVE!!!
