Day One-14th Hot Air Balloon Fiesta, Clark Pampanga, Feb 14, 2009

A day filled of colors and fun.Also watta day to celebrate Valentine's Day and my Bday...We decided to go to Clark to experience the annual hot air balloon festival.Weeks before the event Esep Esep muna kmi kung san kmi mag spent ng bday week ko, then we decided na nga to go to Pampanga. We drove all the way to Imus, nakipaglaban kmi sa trapik sa EDSA, ung papuntang Monumento, after ng Trinoma, dun, dun kmi na traffic. Since this is the first time na We will go North, di namin kabisado ang North, so super careful talaga, ayaw namun ma kontongan ng MMDA noh! So after heavy traffic sa Balintawak, (yata yun) enter na kmi ng NLEX....wow bonggang ang super highway na ito, mas maganda kesa sa SLEX, kzo ang daming tollgate, nakaka lito, first tollgate Php38.00 lang, wow mura naman...so go go go….dumaan ng valenzuela, Bulacan, then province na ng Pampanga, last part na pala ng Pampanga ang Angeles, so go go go, ilang kilometers pa, hala until sa last stretch na meron na naman tollgate and a whopping Php138.00 tollgate fee…whew!!!Then, Dau exit na, ayan sa wakes tapos na sa NLEX, unfortunately, na flat tire kami, so tabi tabi sa gilid to change spare tire. Manong tricycle drivers of Mabalacat are kind enuf to help us change tire. They helped Deydi para mag jack sa tire, then they told us where is the malapit vulcanizing shop. We hand them naman 50 pesosesos para pang merienda at yosi, then we headed na to the vulcanizing shop. Sabi ni manong vulcanizer(vulcanizer!!!!) madami daw singaw, and since this is tubeless, buy nalang dawn g interior, so buy ng interior then go ness na sa Clark. Before going mismo sa venue, we decided to check-in muna sa hotel namin, to freshen up and rest. We pass by, Clark Air Base and pass thru the Friendship Hway, since dun located an gaming Hotel. Sa hotel, Ms Christie, welcomes us. I saw the HOTAIR BALLOON poster, and immediately asked for it after the event, sabi nia kunin nalang ndaw namin, Sunday, then, we freshen up, fixed our luggage and headed straight to the HOT AIR BALLOON FIESTA.
